Space & Ground Services to Support Global Connectivity

Mangosat is a reliable partner and knowledge source. The company is committed to meeting the stringent requirements of global and regional service providers who require a local support organisation on the ground.

Mangosat is dedicated to planning, designing, integrating, implementing, testing and maintaining reliable and affordable satellite (VSAT) and LP-WAN IoT/M2M network connectivity in remote and underserved locations worldwide.

Our services include (satellite) gateway and co-location sourcing, implementation assistance, and maintenance. Off-grid power solutions is another Mangosat service offering.

Typically, Mangosat services are tailor-made total solutions implemented on behalf of our customer

The name MANGOSAT was chosen because it is easy to remember and easy to pronounce. Everybody knows mango…at least that’s what we think.

Furthermore, it represents the company’s direct involvement in high-tech MANGO farming in Tanzania and the implementation of SATellite-related solutions globally.

Who We Are

Who We Are

Mangosat, also trading as Next World Network Services (NWNS), began as an international VSAT installer in 2008. It provides global field services to satellite operators, enterprises, governments and the military in Europe, the USA, Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

For the past 15 years the global field implementation of VSAT and satellite networks has been Mangosat’s core business. This remains a significant area of focus but the company has since evolved broadened its horizons and expanded its product portfolio.

Our versatile market sector coverage is not limited. However, our focus remains on telecommunications, reliable power provision and high-tech agriculture due to our expertise and passion for these areas.

Our past and present are merely the beginning. We have been established long enough to recognise that sustainable growth depends on the strength of our partnerships, the importance of listening to our customers and adapting to constant change. Our story has evolved but our focus remains the same. The future is ahead and we are prepared to meet it.

Our business operates from The Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Sweden, the United Arab Emirates, India and Tanzania.

What We’ve Done

For our clients, Mangosat and its sister company NWNS have installed and managed hundreds of large and small satellite networks worldwide. This extensive experience makes us one of the most experienced providers of telecommunications infrastructure solutions and implementation services globally.

Our core business is providing reliable field support services for companies operating in remote, challenging and difficult-to-reach locations.

For the past 18 years the global field implementation of VSAT and satellite networks has been Mangosat’s core business. This remains the case to an extent. However, we have evolved, broadened our horizons, and expanded our product portfolio. Today Mangosat/NWNS offer professional services and global field support to corporate customers who require the deployment and maintenance of MPLS, IPLS (IP-only LAN Service) and DIA (Dedicated Internet Access) networks for enterprise WAN and SD-WAN connectivity.

We are increasingly supporting customers in remote areas with reliable electrical power solutions and have become heavily involved in the remote sensor business for environmental and agricultural applications. This includes LoRa technology and LEO/nano satellites.

We’re also involved in the realisation of satellite gateway and satellite monitoring stations world-wide.

For clients seeking to test their products under challenging conditions, we have an 80-hectare facility in remote Tanzania that is ideal for endurance tests.

Our versatile range of market sectors is not limited. However, we continue to focus on telecommunications, reliable power provision and high-tech agriculture due to our expertise and passion for these areas.

Our Customers & Clients

Mangosat (and NWNS) clients are international organisations including satellite operators, telecommunications companies, mobile operators, internet service providers, equipment manufacturers, mining and oil and gas companies, large farms, banks, non-governmental organisations, military and other government agencies. Mangosat, in partnership with its associated organisations in over 120 countries, serves as an extended team for our clients. This has been successful for over 60 clients from over 30 countries.

Mangosat/NWNS as a global field services organisation has pioneered business potential. Our clients’ needs and challenges are at the core of everything we do. We are not simply seeking to secure a contract but build long-term relationships. We are grateful that many of our clients have been with us since our inception.

Strong, long-term business relationships are an integral part of our success. After all it’s always easier to do business with people we know well – there’s a basis of trust and understanding (and even friendship).

Our Field Support (FSR)

Mangosat and NWNS maintain a unique resource database of skilled personnel with extensive practical experience of working unsupervised in hazardous and remote areas for extended periods. This database includes Mangosat and NWNS Field Representatives (FSR) with years of experience and proven track records.

Our objective is to have reliable motivated and skilled technical and non-technical support in each country. Where Mangosat/NWNS has not yet contracted local field service representatives (FSR), it will either use its regional representative or dispatch its own staff. Alternatively, if business demands it, we will source and train local personnel.

Our Mission

Mangosat can and intends to contribute significantly more to affordable solutions that further disclose and improve the lives of businesses and people in difficult locations.

We are building or facilitating a bridge between connectivity and access. Our long-term goal is to become the preferred global integrator of affordable solutions for the transmission of mission-critical narrow-band sensor data from remote, rural, underserved and difficult-to-reach or harsh locations.

The Challenge

Approximately 25-27% of the world’s population currently has no access to the internet. Only about 30% of the World’s landmass is served by cell towers. The rest of the land, and all of water mass, have no coverage.

To enable IoT/M2M connectivity, in remote and rural areas, reliable coverage needs to be available beyond cell towers….and power too.

According to the International Telecommunication Union (ITU)’s Facts and Figures 2025 report—the most authoritative source on global digital connectivity—about 6 billion people (roughly three-quarters, or 74-75%, of the global population) are online as of late 2025. This leaves an estimated 2.2 billion people offline, down from 2.3 billion in 2024.

Progress continues, with over 240 million new users added in 2025 alone, but growth is uneven, particularly in low- and middle-income countries where affordability, infrastructure, and digital skills remain barriers.

However, progress in closing the coverage gap has slowed as the remaining uncovered populations are in difficult-to-reach areas where infrastructure deployment is costly.

The offline population is concentrated in regions like South Asia and sub-Saharan Africa

The Opportunity

The combination of reliable connectivity, stable power and IoT is transforming remote inaccessible operations into data-driven, efficient systems. This creates substantial economic and operational value across sectors. As connectivity improves and costs decrease, adoption is accelerating positioning early implementers for competitive advantages.

There are many use cases such as monitoring of remote areas or the provisioning of intelligent management systems to under-served or disrupted regions which require a more global, scalable, flexible, resilient and affordable solution.

Our Prediction

Eventually IoT and AI (Artificial Intelligence) will blend, not only in the cloud but also at the remote network edge, absolutely everywhere.

At the same time we know that sites in remote or underserved locations are most vulnerable for losing out.

It is precisely those remote and underserved regions that can benefit big time from all these new great IoT/AI opportunities. A niche market of size & growth.
